When
AT&T Canada had a client that needed to develop a system for their
sales staff to get access the local dial-up number from anywhere
in North America, Web2XML was there. Web2XML developed a system
to pull a local access number, and failing that a toll number so
that in times of emergency they could always get access. The system
also provided a way for AT&T to customize the system for other clients
as required and provided a simple method of administration to ensure
that the cost of ownership remained low.

Accubid

Accubid
wanted to move into a new market with unfamiliar technologies, they
also wanted to avoid the usual new technology pitfalls, so they
came to Web2XML for help. Web2XML provided the technology assistance
that allowed them to make the plunge into these technologies, while
not increasing the duration of the project. Web2XML started by providing
training for their developers on the new technologies, helped with
the team development process, and showed them how best to implement
the technology in the project. This has allowed Accubid to dip their
toe into the technology pool and to ponder ideas that were not possible
under their current designs.

AJB
Software
|
| |
 |
|
AJB provides credit card processing systems to the retail industry.
When AJB first started, Paul Tan, created some of its core software
that got AJB where they needed to be. For AJB Software, it made sense
to call on Web2XML’s expertise when this software company needed help
in one of the latest ventures. As a result Web2XML developed a
Internet-based XML transmission system for Java based servers. This
system allows a server to send XML packets containing credit card
purchases for approval from the variety of merchant banks. This
development allowed AJB to move towards a more net based system
providing a great advantage over the competition in the e-world.

Psycan

 |
|
Psycan needed an E-commerce site and they needed it yesterday.
The problem, nobody at Psycan had any experience with E-commerce
development. Web2XML provided the plumbing for the E-commerce
and a partner by the name of Continuum Inc provided the HTML and
Flash to make the site look dynamic. The site is a snap to
customize and almost everything is XML based with simple web
front ends to allow Psycan to constantly change things without
Web2XML or Continuum’s help. We may have programmed ourselves out
of the support contract but at least the client is happy.

ACNielsen

|
A C Neilsen had a new Web application that it wanted to get onto
the Internet. Unfortunately it wasn’t developed by us but no
firm no matter how large makes all the right decisions. The
system worked great on the test but when ACN moved it over to
the live servers, nothing happened. A C Neilsen then called Web2XML
to give them a hand. Web2XML did an evaluation and in a very short
period of time had their IIS box up and running.
